JOYLS SESSIONS

The JOYLS specialized activities include team building initiatives, communication exercises, leadership tasks, group and individual problem solving and conflict resolution. JOYLS will also begin to develop their program planning and  group facilitation skills related to summer camp activities.

Our low and high ropes team challenges create exciting opportunities for JOYLS to develop group skills such as working together, sharing ideas, trust, problem-solving, and leadership. These initiatives are designed to push boundaries and promote group reflection.

overnight out-trip

Step up to a new level of outdoor adventure with the JOYLS Out-Trip. Unlike traditional youth camps, this experience empowers you with structured independence as you take the lead in preparing, hiking, camping, and cleaning up. Hike to a beautiful lake, cook your own meals, build shelters, and sleep under the stars—all while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. This trip is the perfect introduction to taking on more responsibility in the great outdoors, setting the stage for your journey into Senior Outdoor Youth Leadership next summer.
