Our 2025 Spring Season runs from April 24th - June 28th. We hire a total of four full-time positions for the spring.
(To be eligible for a Spring Position you must be available to work full-time through both the Spring and Summer Season.)
Our 2025 Summer Season runs from June 29th - August 24th.
To be eligible for a paid summer position, you must be available to work full-time for the entire summer season, have a clear vulnerable sector criminal records check, current first aid certification, previous experience supervising groups 6-14 years old in a similar setting, and be a minimum of 16 years of age.
In addition, we accept volunteer applications. Volunteers must attend staff training (June 29th - July 4th). They must also be available for at least two other weeks during the season. Volunteer interviews will be scheduled April 2025.
In the spring, the four designated positions will facilitate outdoor education programs for youth and adult groups, emphasizing recreation skill development, challenge course programs, and environmental education. During the summer season, these team members will transition into the specific roles outlined below.

For applicants seeking employment (must be a minimum of sixteen years of age), and/or to volunteer (minimum fifteen years of age), and have OFA-1, or Standard First Aid with CPR-C.
Applicants who are eighteen plus must submit a Vulnerable Sector Police Check upon accepting their position. Visit your local police station before beginning employment to obtain a Police Vulnerable Sector Check. Be sure to allow at least 3-4 weeks for processing; there will be longer processing times during peak seasons (summer), or if they require a fingerprint check.

What We Provide:
Accommodation and meals at no additional charge to Blue Lake Camp overnight staff while campers are on site.
