About Blue Lake Camp!
At Blue Lake Camp, we provide an unforgettable outdoor experience for children and youth, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. We are a remote outdoor education Organization that has been providing recreational skill development, leadership skills, High and Low ropes experiences, front and back country outtripping, environmental education studies and all your typical summer camp activities since 1977!
As a member of the Blue Lake Camp team, you will have the opportunity to create last friendships and memories, learn some new things about yourself and build your outdoor leadership experience and skills.
General Employment Information:
For applicants seeking a paid position, you must be a minimum of sixteen years of age, and for volunteer position you must be a minimum of fifteen years of age, and you MUST have OFA-1, or Standard First Aid with CPR-C.
Additional certifications such as advanced first aid, National Lifeguard or Bronze Cross, food handlers, etc are all very valuable and are considered a HUGE asset.
Applicants who are eighteen plus must submit a Vulnerable Sector Police Check upon accepting their position. Visit your local police station before beginning employment to obtain a Police Vulnerable Sector Check. Be sure to allow at least 3-4 weeks for processing; there will be longer processing times during peak seasons (summer), or if they require a fingerprint check.
You will need your own transportation to and from camp as we are unable to provide.
2026 Spring/Summer Options:
We have 2 employment time options available for the 2026 season.
2026 Spring/Summer Session: These full-time positions will employ 4-5 people, starting Approximately April 24th through to August 23rd. You must be available for the entire season with minor exceptions to be eligible for these positions. These are positions are classified as supervisor positions as they transition to supervising junior staff during the summer camp program. You will spend the spring working with school programs. Spring work schedule is generally Monday to Friday and Summer is Sunday to Friday.
2026 Summer Season: These positions employ upwards of 15 people starting June 28th through to August 23rd. You must be available for the entire summer with minor exceptions to be eligible for these positions.
In addition, we also accept volunteer applications. Volunteers must attend staff training (June 28th - July 3rd). They must also be available for at least two other weeks during the season.

What We Provide:
Accommodation, meals and on-site training at no additional charge to Blue Lake Camp overnight staff while campers are on site. Our daily rates are highly competitive and can be found in each job postings above.
