SENIOR outdoor youth leadership (soyl) - AGES 13-16
Offered: Week 1 - Jul 6 to 11, Week 3 - Jul 20 to 25, Week 5 - Aug. 3 to 8, & Week 6 - Aug. 10 to 15
Drop-off - Sunday, 2:00pm to 4:00pm - Pick-up - Friday, 2:00pm to 4:00pm

During this six-day leadership program you will experience the great outdoors and all that is has to offer. Develop essential outdoor skills and knowledge that will ensure your confidence and preparation in your future outings through a variety of activities. You will learn about group dynamics, and your role as a leader. You will hike, camp, cook and navigate the Purcell Mountains. You will learn how to use a compass, tie survival knots, belay your friends, light a fire with one match, build shelter in an emergency situation, and experience the challenge of the High Ropes Course. This will be a week full of new experiences and friends that you will never forget!
Previous experience in JOYL is mandatory for Campers 13 years of age. Please call the office if your child is 13 years old, qualifies and would like to register for this program.
