Experience the magic of camp at Blue Lake Camp! Join us for a summer of incredible experiences, big adventures, new best friends, and hands-on learning!

We emphasize creativity, imagination and adventure in a safe, fun-filled atmosphere designed to encourage growth and the development of self-confidence in an environment of co-operation rather than competition. We provide a low camper to leader ratio and our highly qualified staff ensure the safety of campers while at Blue Lake Camp.

At Blue Lake Camp, our focus is environment education. Camp is one big outdoor science lab!  Blue Lake is the perfect place to investigate and discover the wonders of the natural world. Campers will have the opportunity to become environmental scientists by performing fun and unique science experiments.

Through our ECOFUN programs campers learn the basics of water, trees, soil, wildlife, and conservation in a way that makes exploring the world inspiring and hands on. Programs include experiencing how electricity is made for the camp (yes, we make our own electricity!), what creatures swim in our ponds, how to navigate with a compass, and how to age a tree without cutting it down!  ECOFUN programs are always fun and active! Activities are done in small groups with the focus of the program varying depending on age and number or years in attendance.

Each day at Blue Lake is filled with fun activities that will build confidence, critical thinking skills, and encourage team work. Campers are continually supported, encouraged, and set up for success!

Some programs, like Cabin Activities, are done in small groups and others, like Capture the Flag, involve everyone. Together you will complete duties, tackle challenges, and make new life-long friends along the way.

Join the Beach Party on the sandy shore of Blue Lake! Go for a swim, or take a trip in one of our canoes. If you love to fish, bring your rod and tackle and catch one of our rainbow trout. Bring your mountain bike and helmet and join other bikers and staff on one of our many trails.

On Tuesdays, you can choose to take part in our "Camping Under The Stars" overnight hike. Together we will cook over an open fire, learn outdoor camping skills, sleep under the stars, and experience the great outdoors.

On Wednesdays, you have the opportunity to perform your special talent in our camper talent show - Super Glitter Glushin Kazzam. If you're at camp on Thursday night and the sounds of the drums are heard, you may expereince one of Blue Lake's most legendary events!

Traditional camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, skit nights, arts and crafts, games, and campfires are all part of the fun!

Camp is an active place and good meals are important to help keep energy levels high! With this in mind, Blue Lake Camp offers nutritious, filling meals with vegetarian options.  Summer campers receive three meals a day in addition to an evening snack with hot chocolate.  Fruit is available all day for campers needing something extra. Nut products are not permitted at our summer camp.  Our camps our able to accommodate many special diets.

Campers stay in cabins with a maximum of 10-12 campers. Each cabin is assigned a counselor who will provide 24-hour supervision. Cabins are rustic set up in a dormitory style.  This gives campers lots of opportunity to tell stories and share activities from throughout the day.

If you are 14 years old or have been a Blue Lake camper for four or more years, you can take part in the Junior Outdoor Youth Leadership program (JOYLS). To get the most from this program, please select our 6 day option. JOYL's is an introductory version of our Outdoor Youth Leadership program and focuses on developing leadership and team-building skills and is the gateway to becoming a staff person at Blue Lake. JOYL's will take part in special camp activities and projects and shadow the regular camp staff. JOYL's will assist with the leadership of games, free time activities and campfire programs to help develop those leadership skills. JOYL's is ongoing throughout the summer and does not require special registration.

If you want to experience summer camp to its fullest, we recommend our six day camp option. This is our most popular option and includes all that summer camp has to offer! Our 6 day camps start on Sundays and pick up is on Friday evening.

Only have a short time period available this summer or just getting more comfortable being away from home why not try our 4 day camp? 4 day camps give you the chance to try a wide variety of our camp programs. Our 4 day camps start on Sundays and pick up on Wednesday afternoons.
